2019 Jeep CherokeeThe Jeep Cherokee has seen several significant updates over the past few years including for 2019. It is a mid-size SUV that gives you a great balance between utility, functionality, comfort, luxury, and performance. That way, you can get a lot more done in the Cherokee than other SUV options. Stronger Off-Road Abilities

First and foremost, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee got a significant boost to its off-road abilities through the Trailhawk trim package. The Cherokee had its front-end redesigned for a more aggressive look, but also to improve its performance. That change was combined with a 2L turbocharged engine and a host of off-road features to let it handle terrain effortlessly.

A New Infotainment System

The infotainment system has been updated as well. It comes with the Uconnect 4C system which has a range of built-in features like navigation. To accommodate this, it comes with a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen interface. You’ll also find that it has some of the latest connectivity features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the latest version of Bluetooth. That way, you can connect just about any smart device to the car and enjoy your music and other apps.

The Interior

Much of the interior has been redesigned to give you a better experience. Premium material choices and a redesigned trim selection give it a new look and feel. Now, premium leather is an option to give it a luxury feel. However, premium cloth options are also available for anyone worried about upkeep or with pets. The controls have been repositioned so that they are easier to reach, including steering wheel-mounted controls that make it easier to control the radio.

The Sound System

With so many connectivity options, the Cherokee needed a new sound system to give you the best experience. Jeep added a new Alpine Premium Sound System with a 12-channel, 506-watt amplifier, and nine speakers. An 8-inch subwoofer adds a lot of low-end without muddying the sound. The speakers are strategically positioned for the best possible experience no matter where you sit in the car. It is a great way to add a soundtrack to your trip.
Better Cargo Management
One of the biggest changes is the way that the Cherokee handles cargo management. Jeep added a power liftgate to make opening and closing much easier. Folding and sliding seats increase the amount of storage space that you have, making it easier to transport long objects. The cargo area floor is also lower, giving you more vertical space and making it easier to get things in and out. For smaller items that you travel with often, there are small compartments throughout the Cherokee so that you always have a place that is out of the way to store them.
