If you’re a seasoned truck owner, you likely already know about the impressive offerings that Ram puts out each year. With the 2024 Ram 1500, the brand continues its reputation, as this new vehicle comes packed with performance, convenience, and comfort features. Seven different trim levels await you on the new Ram 1500, each with many features to keep you entertained and comfortable. Let’s look at what to expect from the 2024 Ram 1500.

Ram 1500 Trims

Here’s more information about what you can get with each trim.

Tradesman

The base trim for the 2024 Ram 1500 is the Tradesman. It sets the bar high with 18-inch steel-painted wheels and black sidewall all-season low-rolling-resistance tires. You’ll also get 40/20/40 split bench seats and the  Uconnect 3 system with a 5-inch touch-screen display, which is larger on higher trim levels. This trim has a max towing capacity of 7,760 pounds.

Tradesman HFE

On the Tradesman HFE, you’ll find everything you saw on the Tradesman and more. This trim adds a thermal rear axle and 3.21 rear axle ratio for smooth handling every time. You’ll also get larger 20-inch chrome wheels, a tonneau cover, and cloth bucket seats to keep you and your passengers comfortable.

Big Horn

The Big Horn trim includes even more luxuries, such as chrome exterior trim on the front bumper, rear step bumper, and grille surround. Inside, you’ll notice a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls to easily access your sound features. You’ll also get an LED trailer hitch light that makes it simple to access your towed cargo, even in low lighting. This trim is also the first to offer the option to upgrade to the 5.7-liter V-8 HEMI eTorque engine with Stop/Start.

Laramie

Next in the lineup is the Laramie, which uses a larger 26-gallon fuel tank instead of the 23-gallon tank on lower trims. The mirrors also receive an upgrade on this trim, adding courtesy lamps, supplemental signals on the exterior mirrors, and an automatic-dimming driver mirror. Other standard features include overhead LED lamps, a two-way power lumbar adjustable driver seat, and heated front seats.

Rebel

The Rebel is ideal for off-roading and adventuring. It includes perks such as a sport-performance hood, two-tone paint, and tow hooks that make it easy to pull cargo. The tires on this model are LT275/70R18E OWL All-Terrain Tires, which add exceptional traction, allowing you to breeze through any turf. Other key features on the Rebel trim include LED reflector headlamps, black door handles, front map lights, and a four-way manual adjustable driver seat. The Rebel also offers the chance to opt for two-tone colors, such as Flame Red/Diamond Black Crystal Pearl and Billet Silver Metallic/Diamond Black Crystal Pearl.

Limited Longhorn

The Limited Longhorn adds several upgrades to the interior, including heated second-row seats, a four-way power lumbar adjustable passenger seat, and rear 60/40 split folding seats that can recline for extra comfort. This model has improved tech, such as an available Uconnect 5 Nav with a 12-inch touch-screen display. For sound, you’ll get a 10-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.

Limited

The highest trim level for the new Ram 1500 is the Limited. It comes standard with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 eTorque engine, adding more power right out of the gate than lower trims. You can also expect upgrades to the exterior design, such as a dual rear exhaust with bright tips and a HEMI badge to signal others about the impressive engine.

Ram 1500 Engine

The 2024 Ram 1500 has three different engine options, so you can get the power you need. The first option is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with eTorque that outputs 305 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. It gives the Ram 1500 a maximum towing capacity of 7,730 pounds. For even more power, you can opt for a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with eTorque that achieves 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, providing a towing capacity of 12,750 pounds.

The third engine option is the Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engine, which offers incredible power. You’ll get a whopping 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds. This can be the ideal choice of engine if you’re looking to tow large loads of cargo, as you’ll get exceptional power without compromising other exciting features.

Ram 1500 Interior

Ram designed the interior of the new 1500 for comfort and convenience. It has generous room for storage, with a lit glove compartment, center console, and in-floor areas, allowing you to easily store all your cargo. You’ll notice decadent leather on each trim level, though the color and type will vary. For example, the Limited trim comes with black Natura Plus leather upholstery, while the Rebel trim lets you choose between black leather trim or cloth and vinyl.

Ram 1500 Exterior

On the 2024 Ram 1500’s exterior, you’ll see various design features that add a modern touch to the vehicle’s appearance. Gloss black running boards make it easy to hop into the truck, and molded splash guards protect your tires from damage and debris. There’s also a variety of paint colors that differ slightly for each trim. Some of the available paint colors you can choose on the exterior include:

  • Delmonico Red Pearl.
  • Diamond Black Crystal Pearl.
  • Billet Silver Metallic Clear.
  • Granite Crystal Metallic Clear.
  • Patriot Blue Pearl.
  • Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl.
