Old Town Wine House
Whiskey isn’t for everyone. If your date isn’t a big fan of hard liquor, you can opt for a visit to the Old Town Wine House instead. This restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Lewisville.
The wine here is truly the star of the show. A few ideas for a special date would include springing for one of their reserve bottles. If you and your date have different tastes, you can also order many of their wines by the glass. Those who can’t decide on a specific wine to drink or simply want to try something new can order one of four curated wine flights, which are sure to be a conversation piece.
Many of the entrees served at Old Town Wine House are created to pair with the wine at the restaurant. You’ll find a wonderful selection of tasty options such as pan-seared salmon, chicken cobb salad, or Mediterranean flatbread. Finish off your meal with some sweet dessert options such as rum cake or red wine chiffon cake.
Hillside Fine Grill
It’s hard to top a fancy meal at a steakhouse when it comes to Valentine’s Day. Hillside Fine Grill is located in Highland Village, just nine minutes outside of Lewisville.
The menu is diverse and has something for everyone regardless of what they’re craving. Seafood fanatics will love the ruby red trout or grilled northern Atlantic salmon. You can also opt for the cedar salmon, which is grilled on a cedar plank and adds a nice smoky, earthy touch to the dish. Some of Hillside’s more popular steak options include their center-cut rib-eye and 10-ounce sirloin steak. For something lighter, you should try one of the restaurant’s chicken, pasta, or salad dishes.
This Valentine’s Day, treat your special someone to something special and take them out to one of the three locations listed above. You’ll create lasting memories, and who knows, may even find your new favorite restaurant.
