2019 Ram Power WagonThe 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon gets updated with some major and minor features both inside and outside the truck, giving it extra power and capabilities. The Power Wagon was originally based on Dodge’s military service vehicles from World War II, making it a burly off-roading vehicle that is ready to tackle any terrain.

Power and Performance

Under the hood of the 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, you’ll find a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8. The V-8 engine replaces the V-6 from 2018 and cranks out 410 horsepower and gets 429 pound-feet of torque. You’ll have a smoother and quieter ride in the 2019 models due to a new frame and noise-cancellation technologies.
The Ram Power Wagon rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires. The fender flares come with a top-center notch mark. The front and rear are solid axles with 4:10 ratio and the truck sports an electronically disconnecting front axle.
The 2019 model receives a new grille and bumper design. The grille on the 2019 models is 30 percent larger than previous models. The fog lights have been reshaped and are located in the lower bumper. The new shape of the bumper and lights give it a sleeker and wider look and increases aerodynamics and the truck’s overall performance.

Capabilities

When you need to tow your boat, trailer, or RV, the 2019 Ram Power Wagon has you covered. With a maximum payload of 1,660 pounds and the ability to tow up to 10,620 pounds, this truck can handle your next adventure with ease. If you’re interested in doing a little rock crawling, the truck has a crawl ratio of 51:1 thanks to the new eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Additionally, the nose of the truck is about 7 millimeters higher than before and the ground clearance is 14.2 inches, which gives you better clearance when taking on the terrain.
If you find yourself in a tough spot, the 2019 Power Wagon comes with a new 12,000-pound Warn Zeon 12 winch. The new winch has a synthetic line and a controller plug-in that’s easier to access. It also shaves off 28 pounds of weight, making the truck just a little bit lighter.

Safety Features

A number of features have been included on the 2019 Ram Power Wagon to keep you safe on or off the road. Adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, blind spot monitor, automatic emergency braking, and park assist keep the driver and passengers safe. When it comes to towing safety, the truck also includes a standard integrated trailer brake controller and a trailer tire pressure monitor is available as an option. A cargo camera allows you to keep an eye on what you’re carrying in the bed of the truck.
Seeing tricky terrain is now easier thanks to a 360-degree camera that offers a bird’s-eye view. A front camera allows you to see the way ahead and navigate over obstacles. The camera also has grid lines that mark where the front tires are pointing for you.
The 2019 Ram 2500  is the perfect truck when you’re ready to leave the pavement behind and venture off the road.
