Situated along the Lake Lewisville shoreline is Lake Park, which is the ideal venue for some outdoor family fun. The 662-acre park can roughly be divided into three main areas: the golf area, the athletic facility, and the lake. Around the lake, you’ll find a campground with a restroom, two docks, swimming beaches, boat ramps, and a picnic area. Here the kids can swim, spend time fishing, go canoeing, or head out on a boat with an adult. If the family gets hungry, there’s a food stand at the park that sells snacks, drinks, and hot meals. Lake Park is open seven days a week, and for local residents, the entry price is $3 per car.

Kid Mania features the largest indoor playground in Texas. The venue has equipment that reaches two stories high where children can climb and play around to their hearts’ content. There are plenty of tables where parents can sit, but if you prefer something a bit quieter, an enclosed space that’s sound resistant is also available. Other facilities include a gaming area as well as a cafe that sells food and drinks.
For safety reasons, adults and kids receive a stamp. Children are only allowed to leave the premises with an adult who has a matching stamp. Fun events are offered on certain days, such as “Wear Your Pajamas” day and the “Wacky Socks” day, and you can host your kid’s birthday party at Kid Mania, as well.
