Go-Karts at Zone Action Park
Kids and adults can get their adrenaline pumping at the Speed Zone at Zone Action Park. With two tracks for different levels, almost everyone can have a turn in the driver’s seat. The larger track has double seated karts, and the junior track has smaller go-karts that the younger kids can drive themselves.
To drive a full-size kart on your own, you must be at least 54 inches tall, while the junior kart drivers need to be at least three years old and 36 inches tall. Sixteen year olds and older can drive with a passenger as long as their rider is at least 42 inches tall.
Aloha Hydrosports
Spend your day out on Lake Lewisville on a boat or jet ski. Aloha Hydrosports offers new model equipment for rent so you can enjoy the warm weather and beautiful waters of the lake. You can rent a Waverunner that fits from one to three people or a ski boat that will fit up to six people, complete with a towing tower. The boat comes with floating noodles for the kids, and it comes equipped with a stereo and iPod hookup. If you don’t know how to drive a boat, Aloha Hydrosports will do the driving for you.
All the rental prices include safety equipment, a tank of gas, and if you choose a ski boat, it comes with water skis, a rope, and ski vests.
Coyote Drive-In
End your day in Lewisville with a movie under the stars at Coyote Drive-In. Watch a double feature from the comfort of your car, or bring lawn chairs and blankets to spread out on the ground. Coyote broadcasts the sound through their own FM frequencies, so you need to have a working car radio or a boom box to hear the sound. If you want to walk or bike in, you can find a place at the front near the stand-alone speakers. If you have your own FM capable music player, it is even better.
Each ticket includes a double feature, so you can see two movies in one night. Come hungry because the food at the canteen is delicious.
