The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, or LLELA, preserves and restores native Texas biodiversity and ecosystems. LLELA also offers several activities and programs like bird walks with expert birders, group hikes, and visits to the historic Minor-Porter Log House. This includes tours of the smoke house and the dugout in addition to the log home.
LLELA is also a place of research and restoration.
